For some reason I just haven't been able to really jump on the MySpace train. Vox on the other hand, I took a liking to immediately! I think the reason I haven't adapted well to MySpace is because it seems to cater to a younger set, the pages can be somewhat difficult to read and are just too busy for my taste - Very "UnZen". I found this on a forum and thought it was funny and kind of speaks to what I don't like about MySpace.
How to customize your myspace page:
1) Disregard all knowledge of how the internet works. Attempt to slowdown or crash your friends web browsers.
2) Automatically generate dynamic HTML to customize your home page. If you do not understand what dynamic HTML is, generate more dynamic HTML.
3) Add falling javascript snow, skulls, or animated glitter. Preferably animated glitter.
4) Take pictures of yourself in the bathroom mirror. Use your cell phone to accomplish this task and make sure your phone is the shot. Try to look cool or sexy, and by "sexy" I mean "slutty".
5) Place pictures on your home page. Make them semi transparent and indecipherable.
6) If you have yet to add animated glitter, add animated glitter.
7) Pick a text color that is illegible.
8) Add more animated glitter, yet this time in the form of sparkly words.
9) Embed a song everyone hates. The louder the better.
10) When posting bulletins, post chain letters. Chain letters are real. Also post surveys. surveys are informative.

Added you to my friend's list or whatever they call it over there. Don't care for it either. I tried giving it a chance but I'd rather stick to Live Journal, Vox and my regular journal.
I could never get the hang of MySpace either. There are times when I click on links from other sites, and when I realized I was headed to a MySpace page...my reaction is always, "awwww damn!"

Now.. I was about to say, I thought my sista HAD a page out there. In fact, I have her down in my friends list! That was cute Hop. Very cute! And all of that was TRUE!!!!
hey, i happen to like myspace. i just try not clutter it up like some folks, and only add people who have something meaningful to say. but i might try vox. you never know!
