Check out the trailer

Caught this today with C and my brother. Hadn't really planned on seeing the movie today, and to be honest, even though I recently posted about wanting to see it - I had already forgotten about it! Anyway, my brother called and asked us if we wanted to do dinner and catch the movie at the Magnolia. We love West Village and really enjoy going to the Magnolia, it is so avant-garde! I love that you can sip a Margarita, White Russian or a Smirnoff Ice (our drinks of choice) while enjoying the show big_grin.gif.

Now, Felicity Huffman of Desperate Housewives fame is the star.gifof the movie. I did have concerns about a female playing the role of a transgender male - you know the "beliveability" (I know that ain't no word!) of it all. Can you believe that after only a few minutes into the film I DID believe that she was a MAN! I don't know what that says about her lol, either she is one manly looking woman or they had an exceptional make up person. With the make up and the deeper voice I was sold that she was transitioning from a male to a female. And, oh lawd the scene where she peed on the side of the road!!!! She was squatting down, peeing like a lady and a wolf howled and she stood up and held her PENIS!!! Oh my gawwra! That had to be the biggest non erect d*ick I've ever seen! Anyway ya'll go see this movie! It was very, very good and extremely funny! Better than Brokedick Mountain - hands down!

I saw TransAmerica this weekend, and it was a very good movie. I must say it didn't make me like Broke.Back Mountain did. Felicity Huffman deserved her Globe for this movie. The movie is about a pre-op male-to-female transexual who... Read More
