What does this dream mean?
The dream involved a friend I have had for about thirteen years. The dream started kinda weird, as I remember it, me and about five or six other people - one of which was my ex- husband of ten years, and a female companion were sitting in my friend's living room. We were talking and watching television, when my friend emerged from her bedroom. She walked out of the room and totally ignored everyone - didn't acknowledge that we were sitting there at all. This infuriated me; I couldn't imagine how or why she would ignore us in her own house. So, I told everybody "let's get the hell out of here!"
As we drove away, I expressed how odd her behavior was, and how pissed off it made me. I went on to tell my ex-husband who was driving how I couldn't believe she would behave this way after all we've been through together etc., I went on to tell him about the photo album that she has with pictures of us and our daughters having fun together! He said "she has a photo album of ya'll?" like it was a big deal. I said, yes she does (she really doesn't (or at least I don't think so) - this was just in the dream).
I decided I wanted to go back to her house, so I told him to turn around. Me and my female companion (who I don't recognize in the dream) went to the door and knocked. My friend came to the door, but didn't open it. Instead, she looked through the glass along side of the door and started yelling something at my female companion. It was a heated exchange, but I couldn't understand most of what they were saying, with the exception of my friend saying "she made me cry".
She opened the door, didn't say anything to me or anyone. We went and sat down in the living room and she went into the kitchen. I was very confused by her behavior, and still pissed off actually. I told my friend that I was going to see what the hell was wrong with her. So, I got up and walked into the kitchen - she was at the sink. For some reason I was eating a cracker, a small one like an oyster cracker or something (???? strange).
I got really close to her, and I said "I made you cry?" She took her hand and brushed a few cracker crumbs off my shirt, she then softly kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear "I'll always be just around the corner, if you need me". The alarm clock went off and I woke up.
THAT IS SOME STRANGE AZZ SHIT!!!!

I did have an attraction a million years ago - don't anymore
She was aware of the attraction, but did not reciprocate
We have maintained a strong friendship through the years

I dunno about dream interpretations, dreams can be kinda confusing. (there I go, stating the obvious)
And of course I don't have any of my dream books here at work with me. The fact that she told you that she's always be just around the corner if you need her makes me think that perhaps you have some sort of fear of losing contact or having distance put between you two. (this is my bootleg interpretation too...so don't hold me to this!) I honestly don't think this dream has anything to do with your gayness or her straightness (for real)...I believe it's more about the level of friendship and maybe a fear of unresolved issues. Ooo I'd love to do a reading! HAHAHA...
