I've decided that I'm not going to do resolutions for 2006. Why? Because I won't stick to them anyway, so I'm not going to bother myself with that bullshit in '06! I looked at my goals for 2005 and out of 20 goals I acheived about 3 of them. 2005 was a tumultuous year for me, to be frank I'm glad to see it get the hell out of here, since it had the audacity to take my mother. I have no love for 2005 so you will not find any "best of" or reviews here.

Happy New Year everyone!

• Christmas was O.K...... yea, just O.K. Don't get me wrong I did enjoy spending time with my family. My family is down to 2 members - my brother and my daughter. Uh oh, I'm about to start complaining or feeling sorry for myself. Let me cheer da fuck back up I thank the lord they are here!
  
• Christmas Brunch at Gaylord Texan was fabulous. We had a 1:30 seating in which we were about 10 minutes late. After getting there, valeting and boot scootin up the escalator to the Texas Ballroom - damn I'm sure that read: COUNTRY we had to stand in a line that appeared to be at least 20 miles long! The 30 minute wait ended up not being so bad since they had champagne, orange juice and mimosa to ease everyone's tension. It had to be the largest buffet in the world, I kid you not. I've never witness so much food. I let myself down because I didn't eat like I normally would - I think the quantity of food was just too overwhelming.
  
• To the right you will see my new Flickr gallery that I recently added. It contains pictures of some of the food and sights at Gaylord Texan. That place has mad photo opportunities! Oh BTW, if you didn't know, Flickr rocks!!! Setup is 1.2.3, you can't get any easier. If anyone has an invite for a free Pro account, help a sista out.
  
• Santa was good to me this year, I got some really nice gifts. The highlights were:
  
  Tickets for me an a guest to see the Color Purple Musical in NYC on March 4,2006. This was a great gift from my brother! March 2nd is my birthday which makes the gift that much more special.
  
  I love me some Oprah, I don't give a shit what nobody says about her. Any Oprah gift is well received and appreciated
  
  
  
  Tiffany . Both pieces are beautiful. How can you go wrong with Tiffany & Company?
  
  An American Express Gift Check, another gift that you can never go wrong with.
  
  Although I opened it early, I am still enjoying my Flavia Beverage Machine.
  What did you get for Christmas?
  
• I don't know what's up for New Years Eve, I know it won't be at Gaylord Texan. It's nice, but it ain't $150 - $450 nice.
  
• Well I'm out, going to catch Fun With Dick and Jane with the kid.

• Tis the season to be blahly blah la la la la la, blah blah blah blah! Not really feeling Christmas this year. Christmas just ain't Christmas without the one you love - hence, my mother.
  
• Well today I'm enjoying a "floating holiday" and also next Tuesday. It's good to not have to check email and voicemail. Even though I may have to respond to a customer at some point today.
  
• Why was I crunk off ruby red grapefruit juice and vodka before 5:00 pm today!
  
• Since I really don't have a lot of time off, and this is the first year my mother isn't here for us to spend Christmas with, we decided to do something different for Christmas Dinner. We will be dining at Gaylord Texan for Christmas Brunch. I've heard this place is awesome! They have an ice sculpture exhibit and will be having carriage rides and stuff. Personally, I'm all about the food, I'm gonna eat my azz off!!!
  
• Jamie Foxx's new CD, Undbreakable is off da chain. I especially like the remake of "Love Changes"with MJB.
  
• My company gave me a $10 gift card to Barnes & Nobles as a Christmas gift. I know it's the thought that counts....they obvisiously didn't have much on their minds cause WTF was that?? I'm accustom to a monetary gift or a freakin turkey or ham would have been better hmph!
  
• I'm stuffed, just returned from an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet...I ate as if there was no tomorrow.
  
• We watched the movie Roll Bounce last night with Bow Wow...HATED IT!
  
• I want to see Brokeback Mountain soon!
  
• I want to see Dick and Jane too, I will probably see it on Christmas Day.
  
• The drinks are kicking in...I need a nap cause C wants to go out later tonight.
  
• My daughter has had company over all week..I wish they would go home
  
• I'm done shopping for Christmas, if I don't have it by now..you were not on the list.."thanks for playing"

Dr. Quentin Costa

Blah! I was excited about the two-hour season finale, only to feel let down at the conclusion. After reading many forums with spoilers and spectulation about who the Carver might be....the FX Networks indicated that it wouldn't be someone we suspected (hence, a regular cast member). Everyone thought it was Quentin anyway..so it was really no big surprise. The twist was that Quentin and Kit (the detective) are sister and brother. And oh, Quentin doesn't have a penis

All n all this finale was lack luster and boring!
