My plans are to spend a quiet Thanksgiving with my family. This will be the first without my mother. I'm already missing the taste of her food! She would want us to eat and be together tomorrow...and we shall.
I wanted some non traditional items this year for dinner to add a little interest to the meal. I'm actually a "foodie" I love Food Network, specifically Emeril Lagasse, Tyler Florence, Bobby Flay, Ming Tsai and Paula Dean. But I'm a "cheapie" when it comes to buying the sometimes expensive ingredients

You got a rack of Lamb for 21 bucks?! The cheapest LEG of lamb I found was 35 bucks! I've never have it made the way Emeril does, but I make a mean and tasty leg of lamb every Christmas. I sincerely hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving in spite of your mother's physical abscence HopLuv. I'm sure that she was with you in spirit. Thanks for thinking of me sista friend. My holiday was blessed beyond measure and the food turned out better than ever!
