- Whew! I'm soooooo happy to be back at home! The last two weeks in Florida sucked in a major way. I hated the hotel, it was the worst Hil.ton ever, hurricane W.ilma whipped through the city, I was blessed to only have to deal with a few hours of lost power in the hotel. After the first week, I was exhausted from the training and dealing with the other members of my team. It was the first some of us had met each other due to the fact we all work from our virtual offices - the mix of personalities within the group was a huge challenge for me. The second week went by so slowly....I felt like I was being tortured for some reason. Unfortunately, I have to return to Florida twice before year end - not looking forward to that!
- C was nice enough to T.ivo all my favorite shows while I was away. So, I have to catch up on Op.rah, I.nked, The App.rentice, Mart.ha S.tewart App.rentice, N.ip Tuck, Will and G.race and Ru.n's H.ouse to name a few! My azz will be glued to the tube over the next couple of days.
- We plan to check this out today. Seem's interesting enough. Odd thing is, everything I've read about it says it was done in 2002. Why is it just being released?

- My father's birthday is Oct 31st, my mother's is Nov 4th. I anticipate that next week will be tough - mainly due to momma's birthday coming up so soon after her recent passing.

- This morning C told me that App.le Computer paid tribute to R.osa Parks on their website homepage last week. As an african american consumer of their products, I think that was extremely admirable of them! Cause....they didn't have to! It gave me a "warm" "fuzzy" feeling about buying from them.
- Weirdness, on my return flight home from Florida on Friday I had a lay over in Atlanta......can you believe I spotted someone I dated years ago, that actually lives here in Dallas waiting to board the same plane! We made eye contact, she came over and we hugged and chatted it up a bit. She said, "we never see each other at home...I can't believe I'm seeing you here of all places". Small, small world I tell ya!
- Anybody listening to any good CDs? It's time for me update the i.pod.

I am sooooooooo ready to get back to Dallas!!!! I'm posted up in a hotel room in Florida in the "eye" of the damn hurricane! (Well, not exactly the eye...but only an hour from Orlando) watchin Set It Off. I told "C" tonight I do not want to die in a damn funky azz roach hotel. This has been a long week, will be a long weekend and an even longer upcoming week!
This business trip sucks - No wonder I rated as a "Thug Bear"!
