Week Wrap Up

Not a lot of time to blog or read blogs these days. With my mother being discharged from the hospital, I've been running like crazy this week! It felt so good to sleep in my own bed for the last two days while my brother tends to mom - she's doing pretty good.

It's easier to list my thoughts;

*** LaTonia, thank you sooooo much for your donation in the Zen Tip jar for "my see Oprah fund!" Tickets go on sale Monday.

*** I have a fulltime job, a new contract that starts on Monday and a part time job. Talk about doing the damn thang!

*** Mom only has five more radiation treatments :)

*** The LiveStrong wristbands showed up, we are all wearing one.

*** My ipod aka ZenPod is awesome! I'm glad I got it.

*** My ibook aka ZenBook is giving me a little grief - mainly PC user to Mac user conversion issues. Thanks C for getting "The iBook For Dummies" book today! I plan to read it from cover to cover.

*** I got a very cool one of a kind backpack for my ibook on Ebay! Don't you just love Ebay?

*** C and I had a very nice walk around the lake this afternoon, we enjoyed it and plan to do it on a regular bases.

*** I want to purchase a new digital camera. I don't really want a "beginners" camera, more advanced than that, but nothing where I'll need to get my PHD to figure it out. I really don't want to go over $300 bucks in price, any suggestions?

*** I need to watch The Incredibles - got the DVD a couple of weeks ago. I heard it was very good.

*** Spring is amongst us - we had the lawn cut for the first time this year - looks great!

Glad to hear about your mom...and yeah, I'm absolutely loving The Incredibles!!

I LOVED the Incredibles, which for me is a huge surprise, seeing as I am not an animation fan.

In all that is going on with your mother, take care of yourself as well. I'm sure those walks w/ C will come as a welcome source of peace.

The Incredibles is a good movie. And I pray that your mother gets stronger and stronger. Also, take some time out for you.

Whoohoo glad to hear your Mom is getting released from the hospital and that she's improving. I'm happy for you and the job front. Busy busy!
That's one cool backpack there and i'm jealous that you got an ipod since that's what I REALLY wanted for my birthday. (You weren't late btw, your greeting was right on time and I thank you!)
I have no idea as to what camera you should get. Just be careful: I paid 1300.00 for my Olympus Camedia something or other fantastic zoom and all that jazz about 3 or 4 years ago and now it sells for about 300 bucks.
I just watched the Incredibles a few days ago and it's wonderful! Truly a classic hit.
I watered my lawn, and will have to cut it soon. Yes, Spring is here because my allergies tell me so.

Enjoy Oprah and most of all enjoy life!

Hey check you out luv...You're smiling! I can tell because I can sense the feeling in your words. The countdown is on for your mom's radiation treatment. Glad to hear that it is going in a positive direction. As for your digital camera, how many MegaPixels are you willing to put out for dear? That's a big factor and you can get some pretty good and very economical 3.5- 4.0 megapixels for under $300 bucks. Keep smiling now ya'hear?
