Well, I won't be seeing Oprah!!!! Tickets went on sale today at 10:00 AM. I started calling Ticketmaster and submitted my first request on the Ticketmaster website at 10:00 on the dot! Calling and submitting, calling and submitting, calling and submitting, line busy and "no tickets available" was the continous response.... I finally gave up. When I got through to Ticketmaster I was advised that the tickets sold out in 30 SECONDS!!!! Can you believe that????
Tickets showed up on Ebay within minutes after they went on sale for triple the price. Seems fishy to me....
I'll keep looking for tickets, maybe an individual on craigslist or somewhere will resale them for a reasonable price.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. I know you really want to see Oprah. Sold out in 30 seconds, huh? Damn!! Maybe some other outlet will have tickets available as well.
I saw something a few years back on Dateline or 20/20 about how ticket brokers buy up all the tickets to sporting & major events and there's not much anyone can do to stop them. I guess there isn't a limit on the amount of tickets you can buy at one time.
The very same thing happened in Dallas. I have been a fan for years and was planning on treating friends who helped us with our Mom in her last days. What a dissappointment. I don't uhderstand why this happens.
