Yea well I've been extremely busy!!!! Work commitments have demanded my immediate attention and unfortunately "bloggin" has had to take a back seat :( So, let me think about what's been going on......
***First off, I was able to escape from the job in Timbuktu!!!! I prayed for a new opportunity closer to home, the company was "cool" enough but the drive was just to freakin long! I just wasn't making enough money to do all the shit they wanted me to do, coupled with being unhappy with the distance - I felt like they needed to pay me just to show up and be humbled by my presence everyday. So, after much consideration I decided to not return. The night before I had decided to go "ghost" on they asses I got an email from someone at a company I had interviewed with extensively before accepting the Timbuktu position. The woman offered me the position basically in a email and wanted me to start the next damn day, can you believe that?????? I was all over it too, closer to home and damn near double the salary!
Be careful what you ask for This woman told me I would be doing one thing, but she got me doing about 13949399448837373 jobs! coupled with some totally unrealistic expectations. Anyhoo, I'll be there until I ain't there no mo :)
***Thanksgiving was great! Spent the majority of the day with "C" I cooked an Italian dressing that went over well, we had a honey baked ham, C threw down on a green bean casserole, we had sweet potatoes, salad to name a few things, that afternoon me and "little hop" (teenage daughter) headed out to my mother's place and chilled with her and my brother. There were no arguments or negative backlash the following day, which classifies it as a "good" visit.
***I tried to take advantage of the Thanksgiving Day sales, since I'm in the market for a new notebook I checked out the sale papers plotting where I might go on Friday. Best Buy had a notebook for $500.00 with no rebates and the Will & Grace Second season DVD set for $12.99. I got there at 8:00AM - neither were available. Guess I shouldn't have stayed up to 3:00AM, perhaps I could have gotten up a 6:00 AM and been there when the doors flew open. By gones............
***We got the biggest XMAS tree in the world in our house! I kid you not. It's very nice, simply decorated and classy. As well as it should be, we could have purchased a small impoverished country with the money we spent on it. Merry Christmas!
***C and I have found a new cool, swanky coffee house called Buli's. They have free wireless access so we like taking our laptops down there to chill. I want to steal the fur pillows and wall coverings but she won't help me. They have great drinks, gelato, expensive ass candy, soups, and sandwiches they serve in retro cartoon character lunch box tins (I tried to steal one, she wouldn't help) - my kinda joint!
***I'm in the market for a new car, it will probably be another Jaguar since no one can see me in anything else - what da hell. Other options are the Chrysler 300, Mazda RX8 or Nissan 350Z but again, no can see me in anything other than Jaguar, so we'll see.
Well, nuff said!
Peace
About blooming time!!
P.S. I see a theme here, you wanna steal take sopmething, but C won't help ya! aha!!! Sh's got sense lol she's a keeper that one. YOu better hold on to her lol
