Money

Word on the street is that it makes the world go around.....

Well, we've all hear the saying, money can't buy you love or happiness! I would like to give that ole adage a try! I know it can't buy "love", shit I wouldn't want to buy love. If you want me for money or what I got, then you really don't want "ME".

Now on the happiness thing, I think I could work that one out! There is a little "happiness" for sale :) I do like "things" I was brought up that way, my mother always bought nice "things" nice clothes, nice houses, nice cars etc. She was brought up with nice stuff, so she worked hard and did the same for her kids. Some folks may call that materialistic, I dont! The shit doesn't define me, I just appreciate the nicer things in life, and strive to have them.

My philosophy is "you only live once!" And since you can't take nothing with you when you die, enjoy yourself while you are here. I don't like throwing money away on drinking/partying and shit like that, and look around and have nothing to show for it! I do a little party and drinking on occassion, don't get it twisted. However, I prefer to save and/or invest my money and surround myself with nice shit! Shit you appreciate looking at when you come home from a hard days work. Right now the cash flow is slowin a mofo!!! And I want some new "things" I'd like any of the shit on my Amazon Wishlist hint-hint lol. But, I'm really talkin other stuff like a new house, stainless steel appliances, plasma tvs (yes, tvs I need one for each room), motorcycle and some new furnishings - it's time to get HGTV up in here!

If I could just win the Texas Lottery I would be fine. Problem is, you have to play to win - and I just don't have money like that to throw away lol Can anybody spare a dollar????

What would you do with the money if you won the lottery???

We all have em! I braved a horrendous down pour of heavy rain and lunatic Dallas drivers tonight after 10 p.m. for one of mine, and to wrap my lips around these

I love Krispy Kreme's original glazed donuts! I can do without the creme filled, sprinkles and all the other fancy smancy toppings. Just give me the plan ole glazed ones...

When I see this my heart skips a beat. Because that sign means that there are hot, fresh, soft and creamy donuts rolling off the assembly line inside. I eat as many as I can while they are warm, once they get cold I don't want um!!!!

What's your guilty pleasure????

Be moderate with situations that go to your head. It's tempting to yield to all the wilder impulses right now (sometimes over and over again), but they might not serve you in the end. Be practical, pragmatic, and accepting. If you assume that you know everything, it might actually be time to hire an expert to help you out.

No situations going to my head at this time!

Houses To Go

Well I'm sure you've heard of "Rooms To Go" how about "House To Go"? Since I deal in the real estate industry, and have an affinity for homes and home design I try to keep current of the latest trends in construction and interior design. It seems that in our very near future we will have the choice to select a Modular Home! and "trust" this is far, far, far from the look and feel of a trailer home these beauties don't belong in a trailer park! The homes I've seen are simply beautiful, that look like custom homes. The difference is they are extremely affordable (the one above can be built for under $200K), eco friendly, and built with pre fabricated materials. But to me the BEST thing about them is, when you get tired of the neighbors or the location you are in, you can pick that bitch up and put it on a flatbed trailer and MOVE IT! So, you only have to really build one house in your life lol

She Hate Me

Hmmm, I Don't know about this...... Every man's dream on the big screen! I don't favor the "dyke" word either!

Spike lee’s booty-bumpin’ lesbian sex thang
The director’s new film takes a surprising view of dyke love

By RACHEL KRAMER BUSSEL
Jul. 23, 2004

When Spike Lee’s new film “She Hate Me” opens on Wednesday, July 28, viewers will have the chance to see 19 self-identified lesbians, most of them women of color, on the big screen. This is a huge step, certainly, but is it a positive one?

Already causing a stir within the queer community, the film is sure to provoke viewers of all persuasions — but especially lesbians — with its over-the-top queer plotline.

“She Hate Me” tells the story of John Henry “Jack” Armstrong (Anthony Mackie), a buppie ruined by an Enron-type scandal, who agrees to inseminate his ex-girlfriend, Fatima (Kerry Washington), now a lesbian, and her partner, Alex (Dania Ramirez), in exchange for cold hard cash.

Soon, Jack finds himself in the enviable position of servicing wealthy (and gorgeous) lesbians. The film follows Jack as he impregnates 17 other women, while getting more deeply entangled in the lives of the glamorous-looking Fatima and Alex. Viewers, meanwhile, are treated to two lesbian sex scenes and a montage of Jack having sex with several women, which is played up for laughs as they navigate this unfamiliar territory.

The other queer twist here is that Spike Lee hired the well-known lesbian author and sex educator Tristan Taormino as a “technical consultant.” For what she called “Lesbian Boot Camp,” Taormino provided a crash course in dyke life via readings, panel discussions, individual meetings and outings to bars such as Meow Mix and Lovergirl.

Taormino, who writes a sex column in the Village Voice, also consulted with Lee on the script and was present on the set during filming of scenes involving lesbian characters. Taormino also organized six nationwide screenings of the film for lesbian media honchos. The film has already prompted vehement reactions from many of them.
